Villa Bacchus, Ürgüp, Cappadocia

Villa Bacchus in the Esbelli neighborhood of Ürgüp, is a nicely restored village cave house that's rented to families and small groups.

If you like the idea of privacy, and having a cave home to yourselves during you visit in Cappadocia, and you have a group of up to eight travelers who could be accommodated in three bedrooms, this is the place for you.

Operated by Ms Kismet Çiner, who also operates the neighboring Kayadam Hotel, the Villa Bacchus has its own courtyard.

The upper floor of the stone cave house is a a junior suite with kitchenette that's perfect for a couple with one or two children.

The lower floor has two nice cave bedrooms with private bathrooms.

If you want privacy, your group can have the Villa Bacchus all to yourselves. If you want company, you can wander next door to the Kayadam Hotel and chat with the guests there.

The Esbelli neighborhood is relatively quiet. Because it is in the hills overlooking Ürgüp, the views are very fine. The town is in the valley below, about a 15-minute downhill walk. To come from the town back to the Villa Bacchus, you'll probably want to take a taxi (unless you have your own transport).
