Hotel Rumi, Konya, Turkey

The Hotel Rumi is near the center of Konya and very near the Mevlana Museum—more or less across the street from it, in fact.

Relatively new, clean and modern, the Hotel Rumi has all the expected 3-star services, such as rooftop restaurant, elevator/lift, modern guest rooms with color cable TVs, minibars, private bathrooms with showers and hairdryers, and free Wifi wireless Internet connection throughout the hotel. There's also a wired Internet (Ethernet) connection in each guest room.

There's a pleasant rooftop restaurant, a dining room off the lobby, and parking in front of the hotel and in a separate lot across the street.

No alcohol is served in the hotel, in keeping with Konya's Muslim conservative nature.
