Robinson Crusoe Books, Istanbul

The sober dark wood-and-glass façade of the Robinson Crusoe bookshop has been a fixture on Istanbul's Istiklal Caddesi, not far from Galatasaray Square, for many years now.

In the door and to the right are the guidebooks and stories about Istanbul and Turkey (including Turkey: Bright Sun, Strong Tea), with a large selection of other titles farther into the shop.
