The Iç Anadolu Mavi Tren (Inner Anatolia Blue Train) departs Istanbul (Haydarpasa) daily at 23:50 (11:50 pm) bound for Adana, hauling Pullman seats, couchette and sleeping cars, and a dining car.

After stopping along the way in Eskisehir, Kütahya, Aksehir, Konya and Karaman, the Iç Anadolu Mavi Tren (EECH ah-nah-doh-loo mah-VEE trehn) arrives in Adana, on Turkey's eastern Mediterranean coast, at 18:40 (6:40 pm) the next evening after a journey of 18:50 hours.

The return train departs Adana daily at 14:00 (2:00 pm), arriving in Istanbul the next morning at 08:58 am.

From Adana, there are frequent buses to Iskenderun and Antakya (Hatay), from where you can go easily to the Syrian border for onward travel to Aleppo (Halep Halab) and Damascus (Sam, Dimashk).
