Hanedan, Hotel Peninsula, Hotel Sebnem or Apricot Hotel

Post by Lobo » Wed Feb 04, 2009 5:09 am

I think I've narrowed it down to these four. Some criteria that matter are:

-noise (I like it as quiet as possible)
-nice view during breakfast (late March, so a covered roof patio would be nice) and from room would be great
-twin beds (I tend to move around a lot during sleep, which, as you can imagine, doesn't help my wife sleep.)
-value (under 100 US /night)

Am I asking for too much? Thanks for any advice or comments.

Sounds like you're describing the Hanedan. We stayed there last May and we think it has all the qualifications you're looking for. We were on the top floor and had a beautiful view of the Sea of Marmara. There is a covered rooftop patio and an open area as well to sit anytime. Breakfast (which was great) also served there. The manager, Suleyman, was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is on a side street (just a few minute walk from the Blue Mosque) and noise was not a factor.
