In conclusion, all I can say is that... ...appear to be satisfied and would come back again.

Unfortunately, they do not write letters.
That' s fairly true. I can confirm that satisfied people do not write much.

This was a single room. No A/C, which could be a problem in the summer. The bathroom has the "shower over the toilet, drain in the middle" thing, which is a pain (don't forget to move the toilet paper before you shower). However, I was not spending a lot of time in my room and this met my needs.

Breakfast is a plate of food (no buffet) served in a pleasant patio. Mind you, that in spring of 2004, the charge for the room was $12US a day - I usually pay more than that on tax when I rent a room in a USA motel.

People's experiences with them have been hit or miss. I think some people expect a pension to be more like a hotel, which they are not.

Thanks - looks fine to me - not luxury, but not what I'd call really basic :-)
