Advice !

Post by carol quigley » Tue Mar 28, 2006 5:35 pm

Can anyone advise me the best place to stay in Antalya for a few days in May and where to shop for furniture?

I will probably be on my own, no transport, very limited Turkish!

We are buying a house in Camyuva which may or may not be finished then but I will definitely want to stay a couple of nights in the town.

Any advice gratefully received :)
Thank you.

I have a friend who moved to Antalya and had to furnish an apartment. Her solution was to borrow a van, drive to Istanbul, and fill it with furniture from Ikea.

You can have most companies deliever your furnishings directly to your house. Out side of Antalya maybe a slight fee. Check out Istikbal or Bellona. I have bought their products and are very happy with my purchases. One locattion of Istikbal is on the outskirts of Antalya on the main highway leading south out of antalya towards Kemer. Good luck 8)

If there isn't, her eyesight is worse than I thought.
