It is said that the shortest route between two people is a smile ... But the shortest route to Alanya is undoubtedly to travel with us to Gazipasa airport!

As the first in Denmark, we can now present directly fly to Gazipasa, some 40 km east of Alanya, from the beginning of season 2012. This would mean that we shorten the travel time to Alanya with more than 1 ½ hour.

We have reached agreement with the Swedish Gate Air of season 2012 with 4 weekly frequencies to Gazipasa from 1. april to 30. October 2012, as well as 2 additional departures weekly during the summer recess. Types of aircraft is Boeing B737 with space for 148 passengers-just the largest type of aircraft that can land in Gazipasa airport.

Tor Air has very successfully performed those 2/3 parts of all our flights to Turkey in 2011, and this cooperation, we are very happy to continue in 2012.

You can book your trip to Alanya via Gazipasa already now.

ORDER NOW and SAVE 200,-per person.

Departure from: Billund
To: Gazipasa

Taken from
http://www.anna.aero/2012/07/11/latest- ... july-2012/

SAS Scandinavian Airlines launched three new seasonal routes to the Mediterranean in the last week. On 3 July, the airline connected Norway’s capital Oslo (OSL) with Gazipaşa (GZP) in Turkey, the airport serving the popular tourist resort of Alanya. Flights operate twice-weekly until 28 November

I hear at least 8 other Airlines have applied for licences , BUT paper work was not compleated in time for this season.
Work has begun on the new Harbour, and the highway is almost complete towards Alanya.

The arrival of Pegasus Airlines to Alanya Gazipaşa Airport on 17 December is a real breakthrough for the airport, which has previously been used for charter operations. The airline’s Uğur Alyakut, Senior Brand Marketing Specialist, said: “We are convinced that this will be a great route for us.”

Pegasus inaugurated operations in the southern Turkish airport of Alanya Gazipaşa (GZP), as it commenced four-weekly services to its Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen (SAW) base on 17 December. The airline, which now serves 22 domestic destinations from the Istanbul airport, will operate the 600-kilomtere route using its fleet of 737-800s.
