TAV Gazipasa Operations Coordinator Cengiz Asikli stated as follows: “We see the positive results of the works we have performed to bring Gazipasa Airport to the position it deserves since its location is important for Alanya and the surrounding region. We are very pleased by the direct reciprocal flights from Gazipasa Airport launched by Thomas Cook Scandinavia once a week. Together with our collaboration, we expect Thomas Cook to launch direct flights from other countries to our airport. We will continue to contribute to Gazipasa as well as to tourism sector of Alanya and our region.”

Thomas Cook Scandinavia, Jet Time, Pegasus, SAS, Small Planet, Corendon Airlines, Transavia and Tailwind Airlines have permission to launch flights to Gazipasa Airport. B737-300, B737-400, B737-700, B737-800 and A320 and also A319 types of aircrafts have landed to and took off from Gazipasa Airport during summer season 2013.

There are direct flights to 12 destinations in 8 countries from Gazipasa Airport, which are Copenhagen, Billund and Aalborg in Denmark, Amsterdam and Eindhoven in the Netherlands, Oslo in Norway, Stockholm and Goteborg in Sweden, Brussels in Belgium, Warsaw in Poland, Pardubice in Czech Republic and Vilnius in Lithuania. And with the daily Istanbul connected flights of Pegasus, passengers are able to reach 17 domestic and 32 international destinations.

For the seaside resorts of Alanya and Side on the Turkish Riviera are available from winter a completely new route: SunExpress, subsidiary of Lufthansa and Turkish Airlines, will start from the fifth November 2013 Non-stop flights from Frankfurt am Main, Dusseldorf and Leipzig / Halle Airport Gazipasa Alanya. A total of seven flights a week - on Tuesdays and Thursdays from all three airports and additionally Saturdays from Dusseldorf to Alanya - be it as a travel day to choose from. The flights will be used by the organizer partners allroute, FTI, REWE, Thomas Cook and another for holiday packages to this part of the southern Turkish coast. The one-way flight there in the single-seat sales already from 75.99 EUR per person.

The new Alanya Gazipaşa Airport serves the southern coast of Turkey and its numerous beach destinations.
Alanya is the more famous Antalya’s little brother built on a small peninsula between the Taurus Mountains and the Mediterranean Sea.

Gazipaşa/Alanya flights of Turkish Airlines start today...

Direct flights of Turkish Airlines from Istanbul Atatürk Airport to Antalya Gazipaşa Airport start as from today. The reciprocal flights will be performed every day of the week.
The promotional prices for return tickets of Istanbul-Gazipaşa/Alanya start from 99 Turkish Liras including all taxes.

Operated by TAV Airports, Antalya Gazipaşa Airport provided service to 363,000 passengers last year. The annual passenger capacity of the airport was increased to 1.5 million following the renovation works performed at the airport.

Operated by TAV Airports, Antalya Gazipaşa Airport welcomed the first of the direct flights launched by Jet Time Oy Finland Airlines between Gazipaşa and Helsinki. As part of the flight schedule that Jet Time Oy Finland will be operating to Gazipaşa Airport during the summer season, 148 passengers traveling from Finland's capital Helsinki on a B737-700 were greeted by TAV Gazipaşa personnel with flowers and aqueduct at a ceremony held at the airport.

TAV Gazipaşa Operations Coordinator Cengiz Aşıklı said “We began seeing the results of the positive work we have been carrying out for the improvement of Gazipaşa Airport, which is a significant facility for Alanya and the region. We are very happy to welcome the first of the Helsinki flights that Jet Time Oy Finland launched to bring passengers from the Scandinavian countries to Gazipaşa, who constitute an important tourism potential for our region. Jet Time Oy Finland’s Helsinki flight is another alternative that we offer our passengers flying to the Scandinavian countries where we have other direct flights from Gazipaşa. We will continue our hard work in order to contribute to the development of Gazipaşa as well as the tourism sector in Alanya and our region.”

Jet Time Oy Finland Airlines' first direct flight from Helsinki to Gazipaşa took place on 23:00 hrs. on the May 31st, 2014. Jet Time aircraft took off from GZP to Helsinki on 23:35 hrs. The reciprocal flights will take place once a week on Saturdays on B737-700 type aircraft.

Gazipaşa Airport is expected to perform 20 direct flights to 16 international destinations in 2014. Last month, Finnair, the national airlines of Finland, also launched a direct flight from Gazipaşa Airport to

Turkish Airlines commenced its 38th domestic route from its global hub at Istanbul Atatürk (IST), flying to Gazipaşa (GZP) in Southern Turkey. Germania has started operations on two more uncompeted routes from regional German airports – seemingly its market niche – beginning flights from Bremen (BRE) to Gazipaşa (GZP) on 1 May, as well as Erfurt (ERF) to Malaga (AGP) a day later. The first route is operated by the airline’s A319 fleet twice-weekly (Tuesdays and Sundays), whereas the latter is flown by its 737-700s twice-weekly (Mondays and Thursdays).
