A few years ago we were in Turkey the first week in May; the temperatures at Ephesus and Pamukkale were in the mid 90's (F). We're planning another trip and wonder if that was unusual - would prefer to avoid a repeat but also realize going the latter half of April may have increased chance of rain, which we'd also like to avoid. Thoughts? Jambo
We've spent the whole of May for the past two years in Turkey and not had the temperatures you mention although it is of course warmer on the southern coast than in the mountains. For us it is the perfect time of year - Spring flowers and sunshine.
