e-visa Vs getting it at the land boarder

Post by pinkerton » Mon Jul 28, 2014 9:45 am

Hi everyone, first time poster here. Nice to meet you all.

So, this might sound kind of dumb, but I really like stamps in my passport. Often I have found that when you buy an e-visa you don't get a visa sticker when you get to the country. Is it the same in Turkey? Is there a difference to what you get stamped/stuck in your passport with the e-visa.

I know, it's silly, but if I'm paying the same price I'd rather have a cool visa sticker that I can brag about.

Thanks in advanced for your responses.

No matter whether you got your visa online or at the border, the Immigration officer stamps your passport when you enter Turkey, and when you leave.
