Planning and public transport

Post by tayl0468 » Sun Sep 21, 2014 10:16 pm

Hello.
I wish to go to turkey to meet my sister in november for 1-2 weeks, most likely starting and ending in instanbul for access to flights from london.
The places/things i really want to see and do include:
Gallipoli
Troy
Pamukkale - for travertines
Dalyan (?bodrum) - for mud and thermal baths
Cappadocia - for hot air ballooning

Can anyone help with a route of public transport to get to these places or where else to stay/some sort of itinerary. We wantedvto do it ourselves rather than a tour.
Any ideas will be helpful.

Thanks!

Travel information is given for each of the places you mention. For example:

Gallipoli & Troy: http://www.turkeytravelplanner.com/go/T ... sport.html

Pamukkale: http://www.turkeytravelplanner.com/go/A ... ale/trans/

Dalyan: http://www.turkeytravelplanner.com/go/med/Dalyan/

Cappadocia: http://turkeytravelplanner.com/go/Centr ... index.html

Not taking a tour or using a travel agency to plan your trip means you do the planning yourself. :D All the information is on TurkeyTravelPlanner.com.
