Wonderful new hotel in Urgup: Assiana House

Post by profannie » Fri Jul 06, 2007 6:31 pm

As a Canadian living in Ankara, I often go to Cappadocia for a weekend. There are so many nice pensions and hotels there that's it's hard to choose. I tried lots of them, and I liked most of them. But my favorite one is the new Assiana House in Urgup. It openned this spring. It's a tiny (for now; the owner, Mevlut bey, have enlargement projects!) classy cave hotel with only 5 rooms.
I really think it is worth to be discover: the rooms are absolutely beautiful, the owner and his family are charming people and the rate of the room is very reasonable for what you get.
On the hotel website, there are pictures of the rooms: http://www.assianahouse.com
I and sending there all my friends and family coming to Turkey this summer.
