After bringing back the lovely Turkish Figs, dried, i wanted to find a recipe to use them, This is a winner, enjoy
Chicken Breasts stuffed with figs and spinach

> 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
> 4 Tbl. Sesame oil
> !/2 C. dried figs, chopped
> 1Tbl. Saffron threads
> 1 Tsp. Cumin seeds
> 1 med. Onion, finely chopped
> 2 Tsp. cayenne pepper (I like it hot and thought 1 was plenty)
> 1 Lb. fresh spinach, washed, dried.
> Salt to taste
> 2Tsp. Minced garlic
> 2Tsp minced fresh ginger
> 1 C. Tomato sauce
> 12 C. heavy cream
> 2 Tbl. Fresh chopped cilantro
> Pound the chicken breasts flat, because you are going to stuff them and
> roll
> them. Heat 2 Tbl. Sesame oil in a large frying pan over med. Heat. Add

Here is some interesting facts about Saffron;

In the region surrounding Safranbolu, a city that took its name from saffron. I was surprized to learn about the cultivating and the extremely high price of this rare product.
