The yoghurt man cometh

I picked this book up at Mephisto for the princely sum of 12YTL. It’s a collection of anecdotes and experiences of an American (from the US) who spends a year in Ankara teaching English.

It was an interesting and enjoyable little read. Each chapter is more or less stand alone and just the right length for easy reading between train or bus stops.

And it has a positive blurb from Tom on the back.

I just picked this book up two days ago and read it in two evenings hoping it would help me drift off to sleep but unfortunately it proved to do just the opposite. Well worth reading.
