Hi All,
Jeanne has posted this information before about a certain Istanbul city guide. And I know that she will not mind if I add her thoughts about this book. The Wallpaper City Guide.
The Wallpaper City Guide gives complete new information not mentioned in the regular guidebooks, good on food, shopping, architecture. The Blue City Guide on İstanbul written by John Freely. This book gives enourmous background information and has good walks described. And it fits in your pocket
hope this helps
Carrie

I'm in Istanbul at the moment and the Time Out guide is really useful and covers stuff both lp and rg misses.

And I simply love the small Wallpaper* Istanbul guide. So small but still very nice extra information next to the LP Turkey, that is the one I use too.
