Camera battery chargers

Post by tammytravels » Wed Aug 15, 2007 12:30 am

Like someone else, not sure where to put this question. I can´t figure out if I can use my camera battery charger as is or if I need something to change the current. The back of the charger says 110-240 watts. I think this means I can just plug it in and it will work with either current. A friend of mine doesn´t think so. I´m sure someone here with more travel experience than me knows how this works. I cannot use disposable batteries with my camera or flash trax. Thanks

Battery charger

The current here is 220v. You will bbe able to use your battery charger but will probably have to buy an adaptor for the socket - these are available everywhere in electrical shops for a few Turkish lira - don't bother bringing one, it's easier (and cheaper) to buy one here.

I read somewhere on here plugs were avail. there, so no problem. I am so happy to know I don^t need to buy a conveter. The ones I found were very heavy and bulky.
