Cappadocia Restaurants : Büyük Adana Kebab

Located in the popular Cappadocia town of Göreme, this restaurant is a great place to stop by and enjoy one of Turkey's most classic dishes: the Adana Kebab.

Named after this dish, (translated literally: Big Adana Kebab), it is not a surprise this restaurant does an excellent job of serving both quality food and service. To begin your time here, we recommend starting with some fresh "mezes", Turkish appetizers. Büyük Adana Kebab has multiple options on their menu, but we enjoyed for our main course eating their namesake: the Adana Kebab.

We received help from our local guide, Mustafa with Pupa Travels, to eat it just right- wrapped in warm bread, fresh onions, and of course, savory meat pulled fresh off the skewer! With both terrace and indoor dining, this restaurant is located near the central square of the town and is an easy walk from most nearby hotels.
