Lots of hotels in the Küçük Ayasofya hotel district, but not a lot of independent restaurants.
You will see some restaurants, as I do, but none jump out as super-recommendable. The dining situation is not as good as in some nearby areas such as Cankurtaran and Sirkeci.
Your Küçük Ayasofya hotel may have a restaurant, perhaps on a roof terrace, which would be worth a try. Many, however, just serve breakfast, tea, coffee, drinks and snacks there.
You’re not all that far from Kumkapı, its many seafood restaurants and its fish market serving Istanbul’s freshest fish at moderate prices. More…
Still, you won’t starve, and other choices are nearby.
