When I was last in Istanbul, I stopped by a restaurant and had a fantastic dish that the waiter called "turkish mac and cheese" . It had softer and broader noodles - far better than anything I ever had in America!. I never got the Turkish name for this dish, and I didn't see it at the other places we went. This restaurant was more of a dairy place with a lot of take-out. Can anyone identify this dish for me? I am going back to Istanbul and want to order it again.
Thanks in advance.
