5 Day Istanbul Cappadocia Tour

Welcome to Turkey! Upon your arrival at Istanbul Airport, take the next flight to Kayseri or Nevsehir (locations of the two main airports of Cappadocia). When you arrive at the airport in Cappadocia, you will meet our driver at the gate exit. From there, you will be transferred to your cave hotel.

• Overnight in Cappadocia

• Devrent Valley (Imagination Valley)

Day 2 will begin with an exploration of Cappadocia with Devrent Valley (also known as Imagination Valley), where we will see the different types of Fairy Chimney formations, which formed almost 30 million years ago.

• Pasabag (Monks Valley)

We will then stop in Pasabag, where we will see the most interesting fairy chimneys, resembling those seen in the Hobbit and Smurfs.

• Pottery Workshop

This trip offers the opportunity to stop by a local pottery shop, where details are shared of how people survived and created beautiful art dating back to the Hittite period.

• Lunch at a local restaurant

• Goreme Open Air Museum

The stop at Goreme Open Air Museum allows you to discover some of the best cave churches of the 530 in Cappadocia.

• Uchisar Castle Region

We will stop at Uchisar Castle and Pigeon Valley, two of the best spots for photography and photo opportunities in the world.

• Pigeon Valley

Pause for a photo break at Pigeon Valley.

We will return to our hotel.

• Overnight in Cappadocia

• Red Valley Hike
First thing in the morning, we will check out from the hotel and prepare to start our tour. We will begin by hiking in the Red Valley in the morning, where you can see some of the most spectacular examples of Cappadocian Rock formations.

• Love Valley 
Late morning, we will stop for a coffee and tea break in Love Valley and take pictures with some of the most amazing views in Turkey.

• Lunch at a local restaurant

• Kaymaklı Underground City

We will take a 40-minute drive to see Kaymaklı Underground City, where some of the earliest Christians of Cappadocia stayed temporarily to avoid persecution and invasions.

• Transfer to Airport

Transfer to Kayseri or Nevşehir Airport.

After the last visit in Cappadocia we are going to fly to Istanbul to complete our 5 days of programme in Turkey.

• Overnight in Istanbul

• Hippodrome

We will begin our walking tour with the Roman Hippodrome, which dates back to the 2nd century A.D. At this site, you will have the opportunity to see German Fountain, Obelisk of the Tuthmosis the 3rd, Serpent Column, and the Roman Obelisk.

• Blue Mosque

Later, we will visit the Blue Mosque, which was built in 1616 by the Ottoman Sultan Ahmet I.

• Hagia Sophia

We will visit Hagia Sophia, the great church built in 537 by Justinianus

• Lunch at a local Turkish restaurant.

• Topkapi Palace

We will continue our tour by visiting the great Ottoman Palace, Topkapi where Sultans lived for five centuries.

• Grand Bazaar

We are going to stop by Grand Bazaar one of the oldest shopping mall in the world, which dates back 16th century.

• Overnight in Istanbul

• Bosphorus Cruise

On Day 5, we will checkout from our hotel and begin our tour with a Bosphorus Cruise for two hours to see the neighborhoods of Istanbul from the sea.

• Lunch at a local restaurant

• Dolmabahce Palace

We will later see the Dolmabahce Palace, which was the second residence of the Ottoman Sultans and their families following the 19th century

Depending on your departure, we will transfer you to the airport via Istanbul.
