Rahil Abla is one of many of Turkey’s expert artisan’s who preserve the authenticity and freshness of Turkey’s gastronomy. The local “Pazaar”, or market is a staple in Turkish culture and the food world. These markets feature multiple local farmers selling recently harvested vegetables and fruit. This past weekend, we had the opportunity to sip tea with Rahil in her garden in Çağlarca, Antalya. It was an honor to hear her story; she started her business with just 5 jars of jam.
Rahil makes and sells unique products like vegetable-based pastas and pickled produce. Her products are always fresh from her and her husband’s farm in the outskirts of Antalya.
Out of all of her products, she takes the most pride and joy in her specialty jams or, "reçeller".
