Mandarin Boutique Hotel, Faralya

Last Updated on October 25, 2022

Tucked away in the hills outside the village of Faralya(Uzunyurt), near Ölüdeniz, the Mandarin Boutique Hotel is the dream-come-true of Ms Ayşegül Nakkaş.

It's a real refuge from the madness of the world: eight suites with four-poster beds, fireplaces, whirlpool bathtubs (each next to a window for the view), Ottoman-style furnishings, art and accents, Turkish carpets and kilims and, best of all, blissful peace and quiet.

During the day, Mandarin guests hike the Lycian Way, take boat rides along the shore, swim from the beach at Butterfly Valley or Ölüdeniz, try paragliding, or drive to the region's other attractions: the Greco-Roman ruins at Tlos, Sidyma, Letoön, Xanthos, Patara, Dalyan....

Then, at the end of the day, they return to the Mandarin for a swim in the pool, a drinkand conversation at poolside, and a quiet multi-course dinner. The number of guests is just right for getting to know one another, and making new acquaintances.

For all its being a country retreat, the Mandarin Boutique Hotel has all conveniences: beautiful modern bathrooms, free Wifi, flat-screen TVs.

Many guests rent cars, both to reach the hotel from the airport, and to explore the region's natural and historic beauties. If you'd rather not, Ayşegül Hanım can arrange an airport transfer for you, direct to the inn.
