If I presume to guide travelers around Turkey, it is because I “grew up” with Turkish tourism, starting in 1967 when Turkish tourism was small and unimportant. I traveled to every part of the country and saw the huge potential that has now been realized.
Over the past 47+ years, the beauty of Turkey and the friendliness of its people have been discovered by the world, and Turkey is now among the world’s top ten travel destinations.
This high position is richly deserved, and I am proud to have had some small part in helping the Turkish people to achieve it.
