Farm Town to Resort

Kuşadası (pronounced “koo-SHAH-dah-suh”) is a busy cruise and yachtingport because it’s only a short drive from Ephesus.

Cruise ships on Aegean routes (Athens, Istanbul, the islands) drop anchor here so passengers can bus up to the ruins.

What’s better than a cruise ship? A private yacht, like these moored in Kuşadası‘s tidy marina.
