Waving the Flag
A typical Istanbul scene: the Turkish star-and-crescent flag flying from the stern of a Bosphorus ferryboat docked in the Golden Horn at Eminönü and, in the distance, the top of the Galata Tower.
The building to the left of the tower is the Plague Hospital; the one to the right is the Hotel Mercure, opposite the Pera Palas Oteli in Beyoglu‘s Tepebasi district.
