Sarıgerme Beach , 5.2 km (3.2 miles) southwest of Dalaman on Turkey's Mediterranean coast (map), is among my favorite Turkish beaches.
Because it is relatively out-of-the-way, not near one of the major tourism centers (such as Antalya, Alanya, Bodrum, Fethiye, etc.), it receives a more discriminating clientele—the people who have discovered Sarıgerme.
Sarıgerme Beach is controlled by an organization known by its acronym SARÇED, which enforces its rules and keeps the area in good condition.
The town of Sarıgerme, like that at Ölüdeniz near Fethiye, has grown up along with tourism. It consists mostly of hotels, restaurants and shops for the tourist trade.
Here are the hotels of Sarıgerme, as well as hotels in Dalaman nearby.
