Turkey's high-speed trains (Yüksek Hızlı Tren, YHT) speed between Ankara and Konya ten times daily in each direction (starting about 06:40 am, with the last train about 21:4 (9:40 pm), covering the 290-km (180-mile) distance in less than 1-3/4 hours (compared to more than four hours for the bus, or driving).
It can be difficult to find the train timetables on the Turkish State Railways website, so I've put them here.
Four of these trains are timed to connect with conventional train service between Konya and Karaman, a 1-1/2-hour journey, though as of December 1, 2014, the Konya-Karaman service is by bus because of work on the Konya-Karaman train line.
