Travel writers always get lots of mail from their readers. It’s one of the best things about the job.
I used to get hundreds of letters (by actual physical mail) each year (like the one at right, which also requested my Turkish language learning cassette). I’d answer every one personally. On paper. In an envelope with a stamp.
Soon the flood of questions, tips, compliments and complaints became overwhelming. But with email, answering is so easy that it’s like the good old days.
The best way to get an answer to a question or to add a comment is to post it on the TTP Forum.
