Last Updated on August 6, 2022

Fethiye is famously known for their beaches and ancient sites such as Çaliş Beach and Amyntas Rock Tombs. However, one of Fethiye’s underrated attractions is Paspatur, which is Fethiye’s Old Town. This quaint place is ideal for travelers looking to go shopping during their stay and pick up some souvenirs to bring home. From dozens of boutiques selling unique pieces of clothing to delightful stands showcasing Turkey’s finest spices, if you’re looking for anything in particular, you can find it here. The prettiest part of Paspatur are the streets adorned with rainbow-hued umbrellas hanging above forming a colorful canopy above shops and pedestrians. These beautiful umbrellas are the perfect backdrop for vibrant photos. Aside from this, here are some notable places you should check out during your shopping trip.

Yelda Süt Patisserie

This pastry shop is the place to go if you’re craving something sweet. Yelda Süt Patisserie sells numerous things including French macarons, self-pick candies, and over a dozen different flavors of ice cream and sorbets. It’s a cute shop highlighting their French-inspired atmosphere with indoor seating. You can stroll down the numerous streets of Paspatur while grabbing something sweet to eat.

Saman Bohemian

This small boutique sells various Bohemian-designed clothing in a small yet plentiful storefront. From crochet tops to hand-embroidered embellished dresses, their products are inspired by summer-ready designs. Saman Bohemian also sells jewelry and other accessories to give you a full outfit ready to be worn.

Azul

Azul is a unique jewelry store selling all different kinds of bracelets, necklaces, and anklets for travelers looking to bring home some souvenirs. Their products are the perfect little gifts for friends and family. Ranging from various beaded necklaces to the popular blue-hued evil eye (nazar boncuğu) bracelets, you can find some great deals and prices here.

Boutique No.8

The first thing that draws your eyes into this boutique are the chic French-inspired outdoor displays. No. 8 specializes in upscale women’s clothing and accessories for a simple yet elegant look. It’s also nearby Yelda Süt Patisserie on one of the streets in Old Town so you can’t miss it! While it’s a pricier store, Boutique No. 8 offers discounts on select items.

Ipekyol

Ipekyol is another high-end classy womenswear store just outside one of the entrances of Paspatur, Old Town. The store features many sophisticated and colorful pieces such as tweed blazers, flowy dresses, and fun accessories. Ipekyol is also another store that offers discounts on many of their products.

Aside from these gorgeous five stores, there are multiple shops selling Turkish rugs, pillows, and cushions for home use. Furthermore, you can also buy numerous flavored teas, dried fruits and nuts, and the world-famous desserts baklava and Turkish delight (lokum). If you get tired after a few hours of shopping, there are several restaurants and cafes to sit down and relax in offering your daily dose of coffee, lunch, and ice cream. Overall, Paspatur, Old Town is a great place to wander around, go shopping for some gifts and souvenirs, and take gorgeous pictures with the rainbow-hued umbrellas!
