I’ve always enjoyed good food in Ürgüp, at least during the warm months, but it was always pretty simple: the standard, reliable, delicious, inexpensive cafeteria meals and grills of the workers’ table such as we luckily find in nearly every Turkish town of any size.

Muti, one of Ürgüp’s finest restaurants, has moved to Ortahisar. More…
Just down the hill from the Esbelli neighborhood, Dimrit has a full menu of food and drinks, indoor and open-air seating areas, friendly service, and spectacular views of Ürgüp and the countryside. More…
With tables right on the main square, this venerable eatery is a moderately-priced choice for any meal.
