The sober dark wood-and-glass façade of the Robinson Crusoe bookshop was a fixture on Istanbul’s İstiklal Caddesi, not far from Galatasaray Square, for many years, but in June 2014 the store was forced to move to a less expensive location nearby.
You can also order books, in both English and Turkish, from the useful Robinson Crusoe website.
In either case, Robinson Crusoe is a fine bookstore in its new location above the SALT Beyoğlu Gallery.
