Bozburun village, on the southwestern reaches of the Bozburun Peninsula 44 km (27 miles) southwest of Marmaris (map), is a farming, seafaring and yachtingvillage well away from the crowds and noise of Resort Marmaris.
Discovered by yachters who would put in here for supplies and a little time ashore, Bozburun still caters mostly to them, although a handful of travelers seeking a seaside hideaway wander in and stay for awhile in its few modest lodgings.
It’s far enough from Marmaris to discourage all but the more adventurous day-trippers.
Minibuses run regularly every day between Bozburun and the Marmaris Otogar.
