Kaş is home to dozens of accommodations throughout this buzzing beach town including boutique hotels, pensions, and apartments. But when there’s so much to choose from, it can be hard to decide. Important aspects you must consider are location, cleanliness, Wi-Fi, and amenities. Because of this, we’ve come up with a list to help you navigate accommodations in Kaş. Each accommodation has its own perks which make them unique, catering to different things you may be looking for.
Some small hotels and pensions are in the town center, within walking distance of everything. The larger hotels tend to be farther from the center, requiring transport in many cases. The hotels on the Çukurbağ Peninsula, jutting into the Mediterranean, have particularly good positions for panoramic views of Meis Adası/Megisti. They usually have some way of reaching the sea, usually steps and swimming platforms, for those times when the hotel's swimming pool seems too tame. But their position on Çukurbağ means that you are at the mercy of public transport if you don't have your own vehicle.
1. Hideaway Hotel
Located about a 5-minute walk from the downtown center of Kas, Hideaway Hotel is a great option for those on a budget. It has clean rooms, balconies that overlook the sea, and a complimentary Turkish breakfast buffet. Its star feature is the beautiful terrace that overlooks the town of Kas and the Mediterranean. There is a bar and restaurant on the terrace that is available to hotel guests, and it is a lovely place to spend the evening watching the sunset. It is clean, quiet, and the staff are very friendly.
2. Sunset Butik Aparts
Sunset Butik Aparts is a stunning 3-level vacation home with multiple apartments on each floor. It’s located at the highest point of Kaş overlooking the entire town, with views of the Mediterranean Sea, and nearby islands. This property is luxurious yet budget-flexible with apartments priced at different rates. Sunset Butik Aparts features two large swimming pools, sun loungers, and washing machines, air conditioning, and kitchens in every apartment. This property is available to book on Booking.com.
3. Payama Hotel
Located right next door to Hideaway, Payama is the upscale sister hotel to Hideaway. The deluxe rooms boast jacuzzi tubs and ocean views, as well as spacious beds and balconies. The standard rooms, while not as fancy, are comfortable, clean and spacious. Other amenities include a pool, complimentary Turkish breakfast, and a dining area that overlooks the sea. A one-minute walk up the road sits an ancient amphitheater that boasts an incredible view of the sunset.
4. Kas History Bungalows
Located on a peninsula across from the main town of Kaş, this set of bungalows is only accessible by boat. It is a lovely, family-run business set on a beautiful property full of olive trees. The bungalows range in sizes, some able to host up to 6 people. The bungalows are set on a gorgeous, peaceful property full of olive trees right up against the Mediterranean. Enjoy breakfast by the water and a comfortable, rustic stay in one of their bungalows.
5. Linda Beach Class Hotel
Linda Beach Class Hotel is a 3-star beachfront accommodation only minutes away from the center of Kaş. Nearby attractions include the famous Lycian Rock Tombs and Antiphellos Ancient City. Some of the amenities featured are a large swimming pool, free parking, and a bar. Each room has a flat-screen TV, air conditioning, a private bathroom, and mini bar. Depending on which room you book, you may also have a balcony too! Linda Beach Class Hotel is great for travelers looking to visit some of Kaş most famous ancient sites.
6. Kaş Artemis Hotel
This 4-star hotel is located a short walk up the hill from the center of Kas. It has 35 rooms and features a swimming pool, shuttle bus, and bar. Its upstairs terrace where you’ll enjoy breakfast has spectacular views of the Mediterranean. Rooms are modern and staff was very friendly.
7. Blue Island Luxury Hotel
Blue Island Luxury Hotel is a new hotel located on Çukurbağ Peninsula. It’s best reached by rental car and there is ample parking on the street. If you stay here, be sure to get a room with an ocean view. The on-site restaurant is next to the pool and has a panoramic view of the sea as well as Hidayet Koyu Beach below. Be aware there are a number of stairs which may not be suitable for those with mobility issues.
8. Airbnb & Apartment Rentals
There are numerous Airbnb & housing rental options in Kas for all budgets and number of people. The Çukurbağ peninsula is known for its beautiful albeit expensive stays that overlook the Mediterranean. Further up the hill there are cheaper options, many of which have amazing views of the whole town- but be warned - the walk up the hill is quite steep.
