Scooter and Antbis
Around Antalya there are various ways to get from one place to another. Apart from taking the bus or going by car somewhere, you also have other options like using a scooter or bike. Especially at the seaside, such as Konyaaltı Beach, there are tons of people using them.
It is not only easy and fast but also fun. If you are bored and want to do something different, going around with friends or family on a weekend can be an engaging activity. Keep reading to learn more about how you can use these great forms of transportation.
Scooter
You may have already noticed, there are various scooter brands you can use; such as” Martı”, “Binbin”, “Link” and “Hop!”. All of these work with an application.
How does it work?
To be able to use them you first have to download an application. If you type the brand you will use on the internet, you’ll be able to find their application easily. After installing the application for free, you will have to sign up and create an account. For that, you’ll need to give in some simple information, such as your phone number and credit card information, for the payment. Once you’ve done that the rest is easy-peasy. Open the application, find the nearest scooter on the map, scan the QR code and enjoy your ride. After you finish your ride, the only thing left is to lock the scooter properly and end your trip by taking a photo of the entire scooter and submitting it. You can park your scooter wherever you want, so you don’t have to search for a designated place.

Payment
The payment may differ from one scooter brand to the other, but they charge you approximately the same amount.
A starting price is charged from you, then with every extra minute you ride, the price rises. Keep in mind that any malfunction or misuse of the scooter will come back to you as a fee. So, pay attention to properly lock and take a photo of the scooter to avoid additional fees.
Antbis
Another fun activity is going for a bike ride, along the beach of Konyaaltı, which is 7 km long. Contrary to taking a scooter, which you can park wherever you want, with Antbis you have to pick up and leave them in designated parking areas.
After installing the application, you can see where the stations are, and how many bikes are left. This makes it much easier, so even if you aren’t going to pay via the application, I would recommend installing it.
How does it work?
When renting a bike with Antbis, you have 4 different options.

Antbis application
If you decide to install the application, the only thing you have to do is, after signing up, you will need to load some money on the app. After doing that, the application is going to give you a one-use password, which you will need to rent the bike. Once you got your password, find an Antbis Station, and type the password on the machine of which bicycle you chose to use. Then you’re ready to go, time to enjoy your ride.

Antbis Subscription Card
You also have an option of buying an Antbis card, from the Antbis Center, located in Karaalioğlu park. After purchasing a card, you can load it with money, and scan the card at the bike station. Once you scan it, the machine will give you a password, which you will have to type in to rent the bike

Credit Card
If you are using your credit card, you will have to insert it into the machines located at the stations. With this option, for every bike, a small amount (less than a few dollars) is going to be blocked from your credit card. Once you park the bike back, the fee for the number of hours you used will be taken from the money, and the rest is going to be recharged to your card. The refund may take 1 or 1.5 days. After inserting your card, the machine will give you a password that you will use to rent the bike. Type the password in, and enjoy your ride.

Kent Kart (Transportation Card)
With the personalized series of numbers on your Kent Card, you can sign up on the application and create an account. After that, you can transfer money from your Kent Card to your application. Then use the one-time password to rent your bike.
Payment
Contrary to the scooters, with Antbis you are only charged for every extra hour you ride. This makes it much more affordable. Keep in mind that any misuse of the bike will be charged to you.
