Sun Express (airline
code: XQ) is a low-fare Turkish-German
joint-venture airline that flies lots
of vacationers
from Austria, Germany and Switzerland to
Antalya, Bodrum, Dalaman and Izmir's
Adnan
Menderes Airport (ADB)
in Turkey.
In summer, Sun Express also
runs inexpensive domestic Turkish flights
from its Izmir Adnan
Menderes Airport hub to Adana (3
a week), Antalya (14
a week), Diyarbakir (3), Erzurum (2), Kayseri (for
Cappadocia,
2 a week), Konya (2), Trabzon (4)
and Van (2).
Sun Express is expanding
its route system, so check the Sun
Express website for new routes and more frequent service.
If you're flying to or from Cappadocia, you
should know that Rock
Valley Travel operates
an airline
shuttle service that
connects with Sun Express flights.
They'll drive you between the airport
and your hotel in Ürgüp, Göreme, Avanos or Uçhisar.
