Yahşi has a funny name, but nice beaches. Officially part of the municipality of Ortakent, Yahşi (YAH-shee) is basically the larger town's seaside suburb.
Yahşi's beaches stretch for quite a distance along the coast of the Bodrum peninsula south of Ortakent, lining various coves and bays.
The accommodations available inland from Yahşi's beaches range from modest pensions "with or without kitchen, with or without air conditioning" to fairly nice small resort hotels. You'll find them under "Ortakent" as Yahşi is part of that municipality:
To get to Yahşi, take one of the frequent minibuses from Bodrum's Otogar (bus terminal). If you're driving, take the highway from Bodrum to Ortakent, and turn left following signs for Yahşi.
