Güzelyalı is a separate town from Bursa, but really now a seaside suburb.

Here’s how and when to travel between Istanbul and the Bursa Ferryboat Dock at Güzelyalı by fast ferry.

Bursa and Güzelyalı are connected by a four-lane highway. City buses, private dolmush minibuses and taxis travel regularly along the highway between Bursa and Güzelyalı.

Here’s how to travel between Güzelyalı, Mudanya, the intercity bus terminal, and the center of Bursa bybus, minibus and Bursaray (Metro train).

Note that Bursa has two other ports, Mudanya and Gemlik, and that Yalova is also a useful port for travel to and from Bursa.
