İDO Ferries Istanbul – Bursa, Turkey

İDO seabus passenger-only fast catamaran ferriesspeed between Istanbul's Kabataş ferry docks and Bursa's Güzelyalı docks daily, making the voyage intwo hours (map).

In summer, there are at least eight crossings in each direction daily. Some of the voyages include a stop at Kadıköy, where you can embark or debark the ferry.

After debarking at Güzelyalı, look for yellow city Bus 1-GY (TL2.50) which will take you in 20 or 30 minutes to the Emek İstasyonu terminus of the Bursaray(Bursa's Metro Line M1; TL2.50), from which it's another 25- to 35-minute ride to the city center station of Şehreküstü. More...

From Bursa, you can catch an onward bus to anywhere in the Aegean region (map), and indeed anywhere in Turkey.

İDO also operates a few fast car ferries between Istanbul's Yenikapı Fast Ferry Terminal and Bursa's Güzelyalı docks. Foot pasengers are welcome on the car ferries as well.
